South Korea joins Saudi Arabia, France, Japan, and other nations that have committed to Nvidia-built national AI infrastructure in recent months. The pattern has turned Jensen Huang's chip company into something closer to a strategic infrastructure contractor — one whose client list reads like a UN roster and whose margins reflect a monopoly on urgency.
When the only viable path to gigawatt-class AI compute runs through one company, that stops being a supply chain question and becomes a geopolitical one.
